I saw Public Enemies last night. Johnny Depp plays an infamous bank-robber. Christian Bale plays the agent in charge of capturing him and his gang.I thought it was just okay. I mean, honestly I found it kind of tedious. It's just cops and robbers. Chases and heists. Lots and lots of shooting. It was beautifully filmed, yes. But something about the way it was filmed actually seemed heavy-handed and over the top.
Maybe I wasn't in the mood, but it just didn't do it for me.
